God often seems far away when we pray. We ask Him to give us answers to our problems and situations and He seems silent.

The main reason for this silence is that we don’t recognize that He has already been talking to us all along nor do we recognize what He has been telling us.

The most important way that God talks to you is through the Words in the Bible. Everything in the Bible is meant specifically for you and everything you need to know about how to live a Godly life is in the Bible.

There are other ways to recognize God and what He is telling you.

Your thoughts - God is the One who gives you good ideas, solutions to your problems.

The ‘nudge in your heart’ - You may call it your conscience or gut feeling. You just know in your heart whether it is the right or wrong thing to do.

People - You have an idea that you are considering and haven’t told anyone; yet, someone starts a conversation with you about the same idea. That is God confirming His Plan to made the idea happen.

People - Someone does something for you. Something as minor as holding a door open for you. That is God’s presence in that person’s life. God asked them to do something good for you.

People - You are asked to use your ability to encourage or help someone else. That’s God!

Circumstances - Being in the right place at the right time. You see someone that needs your help. That is not luck. That’s God putting you in a position to show God’s love to someone!

The Pastor - The sermon was prepared with God’s managing and has important words just for you.

God - You will turn on the radio/TV and someone will be talking about ideas that apply to your life. This is one of the ways God encourages and confirms with you to make a change in your life.

God - He will talk to you when your mind is quiet so that you can hear Him. He can talk to you in a louder voice because He needs your attention!

Sudden Moments - God uses accidents, weather, storms, flooding, fires, to make you stop and appreciate the importance of life, and to bring your relationship closer to Him.

The Earth, Life - God created life, the universe for you to care for, enjoy and in which you are to show His love. You can see God in the intricacies of nature, the talent and abilities He gave each of us.

Ask God to show Himself to you each day. He WILL DO IT. Be ready to do what He asks!

It is the beginning of changing your life!
